Airport

Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport is located in east-northern Jinan. It is about 33 kilometers from the Downtown.

Unfortunately, this website has Chinese only. So you may want to ask the service center in your hotel. Also, many hotels have ticket center where you can book tickets for airplanes and trains.

The airport shuttle runs from 6 am till 5 pm for every hour. It sets off at Nanxinzhuang Dongfang Airport Building, passes by Wanzhu Garden, Yuquan Simpson Hotel, Jiefang Road(300 meters east of Zhongxin Hospital, on the northern side of the road), and arrives at the airport. The ticket for the bus is 15 Chinese Yuan. The trip takes an hour.

You may get on a shuttle bus any time you get off the plane. For the exact routine, please contact the airport staff. Please Do not expect the drivers to understand English!!

Railway

Jinan is located at the cross of Jinghu Railway and Jiaoji Railway, which are two of the major railways in China. There are Jinan Station and Jinan East Station in the city. Jinan Station is the largest in the province, and connects the city with Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xian, Chengdu, Wulumuqi, Harbin, and other cities. It is one of the first train stations in China.

Buses and taxis are available at the station to take you to any part of the city!!

Highway Transport

Traveling by the highway is really convenient. Start from Jinan, you can reach any city within the province in half a day. Traveling to Mount Tai and the hometown of Confucius-Qufu is really easy!

You can take the Long Distance Bus to any city of the province, and many major cities of the Country. Consult your hotel service center for the latest ticket information.

Taxi

There are more than 8000 taxis in Jinan, and you can get a taxi simply by waving your hand on the street. The fee is ￥7 for the first 3 kilometers, and ￥1.5 for a kilometer after the first three. The fee can vary according to the waiting time and night hours. Please ask for a receipt with detailed information of the car and taxi company, so you can contact them easily if you have further problems.

By the way, the taxis in Jinan are usually white! So spot for the white cars!
